The goal is always simplicity, usability, and an aesthetically pleasing presentation. Web sites have become the number one presentation device for businesses and individual enterprises. Without a landmark along the "information super highway" a business can be almost invisable. In particular, young adults have shifted from using telephone yellow pages as a way to locate a local business to using search engines (such as Google) to locate service and retail providers.
A web site does not replace traditional contact materials such as brochures, flyers, business cards and regional advertising. But it can mitigate them, or act as the central oganizing coordination in a marketing campaign.
